Blyde Xfest 2010 will be the 4th annual Xfest.  With all the favourates and a couple of surprizes added.

14:00  Check in and registration opens at the Blyde Adventure Camp

18:00  Photo and Film Comp

Saturday (27 Feb 2010)

05:00  Get ready for the Upper Blyde

05:15  Kit truck leaves for the Upper Blyde

05:30  Kayakers truck leaves for the Upper Blyde

08:00  Registration opens for the day's races

08:30  Beginner and Intermediate Kayak Race Briefing

09:00  Beginner Kayak Race begins

10:30  Intermediate Kayak Race begins

11:30  King of the Gumbies Race

12:00  Lunch

13:00  Gecko Tube Race

14:30  Croc Raft Race

15:00  Upper Blyde paddlers arrive back at camp

16:00  Kayak ramp fun begins

19:00  Prize giving and festival teaser

20:00  Party opening

08:00  Leisure fun run on the Olifants River Gorge

Costs for Events

All river events on the Lower Blyde (3events)   R150.00

Single river events on the Lower Blyde            R 100.00

Upper Blyde Kayak Race                               R 200.00 and bring your own lunch on the river please

Team Race (gecko / croc)                             R 100.00pp min. 2members and max. 4 members

Olifants River Run (Sunday)                          R 100.00pp for kayakers and if you use our gear:  R 150.00pp

Accommodation for Event

Camping                 R 60.00pppn includes coffee/rusks/muffin in the morning
